Do you feel restless every time? Or do you think you are a lazy person?
If you are the one who accepts yourself as a lazy person or feel tired always then reject it because that's not true. Today I will share a few simple steps that can make you more energetic as well as confident and productive. These easy 7 steps are described in our ancient Ayurveda which will not only energise you but also make you feel motivated like never before. I'll keep this article solution oriented instead of discussing the causes and symptoms so that you can start feeling difference right from the first day.
Avoid Being Lazy With Few Simple Steps-
Step 1 - Eat dried grapes (munakka)
After you have woken up in the morning, have a glass of water and get fresh up. Now after you have freshened up it's time to execute the first step.
In this step you need to take 5 soaked munakka (dried grapes) along with the water they were soaked in. Munakka or dried grapes are a little different from the regular resins in appearance as well as their nutritional value. Munakka is extremely rich in calcium, iron, vitamin B, potassium, magnesium, vitamin c and vitamin E. It is also known for its properties to overcome fatigue and boost energy.
All you need to do is soak 5 munakka with a half glass of water the night before sleeping. In the morning , first drink the water and then slowly chew the 5 munakkas. After having it you will feel more energetic . Now it's time for daily workout.
Step 2 - Practise yoga every day
Modern research and numerous studies describe that a daily workout for just 20 minutes can lift up your energy level in a huge way. Yoga pumps blood in the body in the right way which helps you to set an energetic tone for the whole day. Now again, workout does not mean heavy weight lifting training. Just a little warm up, running or 20 minutes of daily walking is also enough to energise you. You can practise pranayama, deep breathing in fresh air and different yoga postures. If you really want to get out of this laziness , you must execute this step without any excuses.
Step 3 - Massage your body
Now after the workout, I highly recommend you to massage your body with cold pressed sesame oil before taking a bath. Sesame oil is the king of oils because of its antioxidant properties and miraculous benefits. It is the only oil that has the power to get absorbed into all seven layers of the skin , deep into tissues and ultimately strengthening the bones.
Massaging the body relaxes the muscles, enhances the supply of oxygen in every organ , provides nutrients to cells and helps remove laziness from its very root cause. It is very necessary to take care of all the tissues and organs of the body so massage your body at least 4 times every week.
Step 4 - Make a to-do task list
Now after you have taken a bath, have a healthy breakfast and it is time to execute step number 4 which is to make a to-do task list for the whole day.
However you should accept that you feel more lazy when you have no real goal to achieve and to actually trace them. This is the reason this simple can give you a huge benefit. The idea to make a to-do task list is to set some real goals for the day, don't be harsh on yourself and add some tasks for the day. Just fulfil these tasks by the end of the day and keep making a small tick before each task that is completed. Well it is also very important to make this small tick because every single tick you make will increase your confidence towards new goals.
Making this to do task list and then checking the boxes will give you unimaginable satisfaction as well as motivation. By doing so, you are just dividing your goals into small tasks and inching closer to your goals every day. It will also keep you focused and enthusiastic.
Step 5 - Avoid untimely heavy dinner
Now before we move to the further step I would discuss the power of high pranic foods described in our ancient texts. Food has the power to heal health as well as to destroy it. In Upanishad it is said that "From food all human beings are born. By food they live and into food they return".
According to ancient texts the food has prana (life) which is responsible for our health and vitality. On the other hand, dead food which has no pranic value makes us lethargic and unmotivated. One simple way is to eat the fresh seasonal local fruits as your evening snack. Don't expect the same vitality from the dead cheese foods.
Just sitting in sunlight for just 10-20 minutes also decreases laziness and fatigue. One more common thing that we miss out on is an untimely heavy dinner. If you eat your dinner before 7 PM and that is not heavy, you will see a magical jump in your energy level. This is why our digestive system weakens after sunset and it becomes difficult for the body to digest heavy food. This is the reason , people who eat untimely or heavy food wake up Groggily in the morning. Of course if your working hours don't permit you to have dinner that early , at least keep your dinner light and go for a walk after having it.
Step 6 - Have Ayurvedic energy drink every night
Now it's time to execute the next step which is to drink a powerful Ayurvedic energy drink made with date (chhuhara). You just need to take this drink 30 minutes before going to bed.
This is dry date milk . To make it , simply boil a glass of milk and one glass of water with two chopped dates until all the water gets away .Adding water in the milk while boiling makes it easy to digest as described in our ancient techniques. Let it cool and add sugar according to your taste and drink it 30 minutes before sleeping.
Dry dates are super rich in calcium, vitamin B, potassium, zinc, and fibres that makes the body extremely energetic. It is good for the digestive system as well as increases the energy levels. Slowly drink the drink and eat the sweet dates along with itself. This tasty herbal drink is not only good to increase energy levels but also to boost immunity and promote a good sleep .
Step 7 - Proper sleep
Last but not the least , sleep well. It is the most important step to sleep at proper time and wake up at proper time, for this regard one should utilise the time between 10 PM and 5AM . Because that's when ,according to the natural clock, our body is well rested.
However some people proudly accept themselves as night owls but that's not how nature has made us be. This is also the reason why people, even after taking 9 hours of sleep, do not feel energetic and fresh in the morning where the people sleeping just for 6 hours at proper time feel more energetic in the morning.
