Here are some food combinations that never should be taken together. These food combinations are also mentioned in Ayurveda as they are harmful for the human body. These combinations of foods are -
2.Milk with the foods having citric acid.
3.Fruits with meals.
4.Milk with banana.
5. Cold drinks with foods containing cheese.
6.Curd in night.
7.Milk with salty foods.
1.Two protein rich foods -
Taking two protein rich foods together can cause bloating and stomach ache. Two protein rich foods together are very heavy for the stomach and it can take too much time to digest which affects your digestion as well as your daily diet. So cut down taking two protein rich foods together like milk and yogurt or egg and bacon.
2.Milk with the foods having citric acid -
One should never take citrus food and milk together because it leads to coagulation of the milk and can create lactose in the stomach. It leads to acidity, skin diseases , bloating or stomach ache. Some people are also unable to digest lactose. So if you are taking citrus food and milk together in your regular diet , just cut it down.
3.Fruits with meals -
Fruits take a short time to digest in the stomach and they retain in the body faster than other meals. One should avoid taking fruits with meals because meals make them stay in the stomach for long instead of retaining fast in the body. It causes fermentation of fruits which leads to acidity, stomach ache or discomfort. So avoid taking fruits before or immediately after meals.
4.Milk with banana -
Milk and banana together is a heavy meal which causes delay in digestion. It leads to disturbances in your regular diet and sometimes bloating. It can also slow down your mind as a heavy diet consumes energy for digestion . So next time try to avoid taking banana with milk and if you wanna take banana shake , just add one or two pinches of nutmeg or cinnamon powder to boost the digestion.
In case , you are taking a meal which includes cheese like pizza or macaroni etc. Just make sure that you do not take any cold drink with it. Cold drink during a meal is already harmful and in the case of cheese it can be more dangerous for your health as it causes discomfort, acidity, late digestion and stomach ache. So next time cut off cold drinks whenever you take cheesy foods.
6.Curd in night -
Curd is a heavy meal which takes a long time to digest. Taking curd at night can cause gastric troubles and constipation as it does not get proper time to digest and retain in the body. Lunch time is best for taking curd.
7.Milk with salty foods -
Milk has enough salt that can give the proper minerals required from salt. If one takes salty foods with milk then it increases salt in milk contents which disturbs the properties of other minerals present in milk which is harmful for our body.
